Very exciting news arrived from Grace United Church of Christ in Sauk Village! The transformation has begun! Ground has been tilled for the urban farm that is being developed on their church property. Next step — with the help of Just Roots Chicago and Carl Smit of Smit Farms — is to get a cover crop planted this fall. And then…let the growing commence! Grace Seeds Ministry is happy to partner with the project – beginning with providing a “2021 Growing Grant.” May God bless all that is unfolding as this project continues to move forward!
